Winmx upload problem

I am running xp pro on DSL with a linksys router and norton 2005 firewall and virius. I can download songs but no one can upload. Im using Win Mx vr3.31 and it works good for me except the upload problem. the tcp is set on default 6699, but it doesnt make the connection on the setup wizard. Can Ya help me share my songs with others?
