I connected my computer to another monitor, when the computer boots up, it gets to where it is detecting the hardware then starts to update the hardware information database, and it just sites there with the flag waving. I let it sit for like 30 minutes... and it doesn't go any farther.... any ideas?

it's a windows flag so that is normal... it's being used in place of an hour glass
