Somhow my computer tells me that "Registry editing has been disabled by your administrator" when I try to run Regedit. However I am the administrator and I have no idea of how to disable editing. So I know I didn't disable it. When I called Microsoft about the problem they said that I had a specific Virus. They sent me an Email so that I could fix the virus. When I ran the program it siad that I did not have the virus. So I was left still unable to use REGEDIT> Can some one help?

You could try unlocking the registry with this reg file:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System] If its set to 1 change it to 0 as seen here. "DisableRegistryTools"=dword:00000000
