I lost the packaging that contained my product key during moving and I had not written it down anywhere. Recently, my computer started doing some strange thngs and I was told that I must re-install Windows XP. I have the CD but not the Product Key......didn't you ever hear of anything like this happening to anyone?

Windows XP Pro Product Key
Is there some way to change the Windows XP Pro Product Key? Please advise......

For your information Dan O, I am not hacking. I genuinely lost my product key and my Windows starts but the "magic bean" doesn't help me because everything on the screen that is supposed to be letters or numbers is weird "signs" or, in other words gibberish, and unreadable.
