Uninstall any version you currently have on your computer of Adobe Flashplayer.

Then download and install Adobe Flashplayer 0.1.102.64.

Reboot your machine.

Now try watching a video on Youtube, making sure that the audio is turned all the way up in the player.

You didn't mention if you're using Windows Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox or some other browser.

Here are the download links for

Adobe Flash Player ActiveX 10.1.102.64 - for Internet Explorer

Adobe Flash Player Plugin 10.1.102.64 - for Firefox and other browsers

If you don't have them installed already, you should also install

Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0.23

Microsoft Silverlight 4.0.51204.0

You want to have Flash and Java and Silverlight installed so you can access all the multimedia and animation content of all websites.
