Is there a way to save the activation information or the settings so that I can reinstall the same machine without having to go through the calling India thing?

I am not talking about cloning, or pirating, I am just wondering...

You can activate over the internet rather than by phone. . If you have to do it by phone, it takes about 6.3 mins.

Thanks for that quick response. I know about Internet activation. I change hardware alot and sometimes need to reinstall xp because I screw things up.

So it usually makes me call, don't know why, but it does.
