Windows won't load

Hey,

First of all, I may not be asking in the right forum, as Im not sure whether this is software or hardware related, but i hope its a software issue so i will start here.

Yesterday i turned on my computer after previously having shut it off using the power button instead of turning it off via windows (not sure thats related). Windows did not load, instead the following error ocurred: error code 0xc00000f

After following some online guides to resolve this, (which included doing some changes in the command line reboot mbr etc.) nothing worked.

So i decided to reinstall windows on my SSD which also didnt work, then i tried to reinstall windows on my HDD with the SSD being disconnected, that also didnt work as in both cases, after the installation and the reboot i get the following message:

"A disk read error ocurred
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"

I have the feeling there is some wrong settings on the harddrives, but maybe im just hoping that to be the case rather then having a hardware issue.

Any suggestions?

On a working computer, create a Windows Installation media that will allow you to repair existing Windows Installation.

Create a USB Flash Drive

Boot from the USB Flash drive-Make sure you have disabled Secure boot/Fast boot in BIOS Settings.

Then open Advanced Startup options after the computer boots from USB. Click Repair your computer at the first screen that says Install now.

Select Startup repair, let it finish the job and see if the computer can boot afterward.

First of all, tanks for replying, will this also work if Windows is not actually installed on the harddrive? Because im not sure if the installation even succeeded.
No, it would only be able to work on your original Windows 10 installation on your SSD.

Note however, if there is a hardware problem with either the SSD or the HDD, software will not be able to fix it. To test the SSD and/or HDD, check the manufacturers website for bootable SSD and/or HDD diagnostic utilities.
I have a feeling the drive you are trying to install Windows is faulty. Have you tried to at least format the drive in DiskPart? If you are not able to format, then the drive is bad. I had that issue with a dell machine and took me ages to get them to replace it.
