I'm attempting to install the Critical Updates to a Windows 2000 Professional system. All 14 appear to install correctly. However, the 'Pick Updates To Install' heading still shows 2 outstanding updates afterwards. When I look to see what they are there is nothing listed. I exit Windows Updates, go back into it and now it shows 23 outstanding updates, some of which are already installed, (as per the Installation History).

I have seen a KB article #Q319109 that talks about the repeating problem but it is for WinXP.

I have not been able to find a solution for Win2KPro.

If you do a scan with this it should show what has actually been installed

They are installed. I need to know how to get Windows Update to recognize that fact.
