HI can someone point me in the right direction - I've just uninstalled Norton 2006 using the symantec removal tool - no problems - loaded CA anti virus siftware - no problems again -
but the Windows security centre says 'one or more' firewalls are on - turning off the windows firewall, its says Norton 2006 is running - but I've just uninstalled that !

- any ideas ????

do you have zonealarm? Also, is the windows firewall on?

no not zone alarm - CA anti virus - when windows firewall is on - security centergives the message about 'one or more firewalls' being on and working - I turn off windows firewall it says norton 2006 is installed and working - but I've uninstalled it !

sorry - just realised got my anti virus mixed up with my firewalls !! no other firewall installed now was hoping to use the windows built in one 1 - thats when i saw it saying I had more than 1
