Hi,

I am almost always recieving this error box (below) where I click on different sites and I don't know how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permission."

I am running Windows Vista Home Edition SP2 64 bit.

Thank you Mumbodog,

I have done that. I also downloaded Malwarebytes and did a full scan and found 2 infections on my pc.

1. Adware : MyWebSearch (Registry Key)

2. Hijack, Display Properties (Registry Data)

I deleted both. Funny my SpySweeper didn't catch those. My problem seems to be cleared up now.

Thank you for taking the time to answer me.

Regards

You are welcome.

Welcome to TSGF.

If you want a really thorough check for malware Go to this board, read the first "Sticky" at the top very carefully, then post your HJ log on that board for expert help.

http://forums.techguy.org/54-malware...jackthis-logs/

This will find more than Spysweeper and MBAM will ever find.
