I can't get a Dos based program to run in windows ME without it being extremely slow. I downloaded a patch from online to make ME run a real-DOS mode, but i can't figure it out. Can anybody help me. I have attached the patch to this thread. Thanks.

What program is it? Did it always run slow? Does it do this on other OSs?

first of all, ME is bad, it was a cheap cash-in before xp came out. Second of all ME is the work of the devil, burn it and scatter its ashes on the four winds before cleansing yourself of its offensive taints.

The program is Star Control2, it never ran this slow before, it always ran fine on my old 386.
