I'm running Windows Me. When I have Windows Explorer up (like when I click on "My documents"), my tool bar has the same options as when I have Internet Explorer on the screen("Favorites" "History" etc.) However, the Favorites links don't work there. They work fine when I'm running IE.
My question is, should I have "Favorites" on the tool bar in Windows Explorer and if so, why don't they take me to the respective web site?

I have a cable high speed connection so I'm always connected. I've tried it with IE running too - no difference.

Me version? - I don't see a version number when I go to the "About Windows" screen under the "Help" menu.

Repair? - What kind of repair? Actually, I just did a reinstall of Windows on top of my present one.

H !! with repair I mean't

Go to start\settings\control panel\add-remove programs once there scroll down to Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or 6.0 (Depending on which version you currently have) and tools, highlight same and click remove. When popup occurs select the repair option and enter.

This can't do any harm. ;)
