application unable to initialize store directory. computer may be out of memory or disc is full.

MSOE.DLL could not be initialized.

would appreciate any help.

Welcome.

This MS page describes the error BUT it's for Win2K!

What did you do since the last time that OE worked OK?
(changes, installs, upgrades, tweaks, etc)

Or, were you trying to use the XP Transfer Wisard?

BTW I do not believe this is an issue with the DLL. It is something in the OE environment.

Regardless, you do not want to arbitrarily replace DLLs. They are version sensitive and installing one that is either too old, or newer than the rest of your environment, will cause problems.
