Ran a download to update windows explorer, and the changes are terrible. I hate the new tool bars, the big blue band at the top, and the waste of space taken up at the top of my screen. Can i improve on the amount of sapce taken up, or how do i get my old layout back? Any one had similar problem please let me know

lol, I hate it as much as you....

try control panel > Add/remove programs. Uninstall internet explorer 7...

Thanks for that, but a silly question before i do it...what does it leave after I remove it !! doex it go back to the old one?

go to tools click full screen

ie7 is good you just have to get used to it change is as good as a holiday

or you can use firefox lol

I believe it restores to IE6

You might want to play with it a bit and use it a couple of days . . I've had several clients call complaining, then call a day or so later saying they like it once they got used to it . . it does offer some improved security

Thanks guys....I did uninstall it and it went back to the old version without any problem. perhaps i will try it again later. Thanks for the replies......:up:
