Hi,

I have been trying to install a new scanner that I bought tonight and I keep getting the error message "The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running in safe mode or if the windows installer is not installed correctly. Contact your support personnel for assistance" What the heck does this mean??? LOL

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe so.

I guess I'm alittle confused, when it asks, after reboot, I just hit ok, I don't type a password or anything.
