In Windows Explorer (WinXP Pro), I double click on a folder from the right hand pane and it used to open in the same window. Now, when I double click on the folder, it launches the Open With window, in which case I can select from a list of programs, and I can browse to the Explorer application and open the folder in a new window (this is not what I want).

If I single click on the folder in the left hand pane, it changes the way I want it to, but I am used to using the right hand pane.

Before this problem occured, I did the following:
created a new file "C:\Windows\Printdir.bat" with the following:
@echo off
dir /-p /b /o:gen *.* > "C:\0\SaveDir.txt"
start /w notepad "C:\0\SaveDir.txt"

Then I followed these instructions:
Create a new action for file folders
1 Click Start, click Control Panel (or, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel), and then click Folder Options.
2 On the File Types tab, click File Folder.
3 Click Advanced, and then click New.
4 In the Action box, type:
Print Directory Listing
5 In the Application used to perform action box, type:
printdir.bat
6 Click OK.
7 Click OK, click OK, and then click Close.

This allows me to get a listing of all files within a given directory. I've done this before on several PC's. I've even had this working correctly on this very same PC, but I reloaded Windows a couple months ago to get a clean install of all my software.
