Im hoping someone on here will be able to help with a slight problem i'm having. Please be nice i'm new to this area of the web. Apologies if this has been posted in the wrong place.

The Problem:
I have just reformatted a computer that was running Windows 98se. I re-formatted without any problems. I go to install Windows 98 again and once i have copied the files from the CD, and checked for errors using Scandisk it says:
"Setup has detected a corrupt Setup (.cab) file and cannot continue"
What should i do from here? is there any way to continue with the installation?

Any help most aprieciated,

Probably you need to try another win98 cd and see does it solves the problem. Sometime this will happen if there are some scratches on the cd surface.
