Hello! At the moment I'm using is a "pirate copied" version of windows 7 pro :down: . And I really want to get rid of it.
How can I un-install my windows and install a new legit one(win7pro)? Spoke to a friend to told me that I had to buy a new harddrive or ssd. Is that really necesary?

The only hard part is to find a legit genuine Windows 7. Then just boot to the DVD and install it over the current OS. If you like you can format the partition, but it's not necessary.

A "clean" install of Windows 7 with a legitimate disc and product key will wipe out the pirated version in that hard drive. There's no need to replace the hard drive.

Here is a good pictorial install guide that you can follow.

You didn't provide any specs on that computer, so that'll be one determining factor on whether you should install the 32-bit or 64-bit version.
