I have Windows 7 with Media Player 12 on it. I want to "share" with my TV through my service,AT&T Uverse. I can't make it work and AT&T tech support just says "it doesn't work with Windows 7". When reading the AT&T online guide, it says I need Windows Media Player 11. Can I just download MP 11 and use it instead of 12? (I don't like M)P 12 anyway:down:)

AT&T Uverse has a function where thru the TV controller menu, you can choose their "interactive" mode. With Media player set for Media Sharing and the proper component (the TV) selected, you can pull up photo and music files on your TV. Set up a slide show or play your own music on the TV.

I have searched the Windows download site, but they do not offer MP11 for Windows 7. I found another site that did, but downloaded it and it doesn't work. (Hope it wasn't a scam.)
