I received a computer from an ex employee, the windows log on is password protected. It is running on windows 2000 professional NT is there a way to bypass this password. All help is greatly appreciated.
Well hince the word EX employee. Never know if the Ex employee would give it up. You said the windows log on???? I am not sure what you are talking about there. Do you mean that the system is asking for a password? How does the user log in? Do you know the admin password? does the computer log into a network? You really need to feed us with more information.
It was the windows login password. I had the administrative username but needed the password. I ended up using the Windows 2000 boot disk and rewrote the drive. I didn't want the files I just wanted to be able to use the computer. Thanks
