Windows 10 PC won't connect to my Samsung S21FE

I transfer files (mainly mp3's, .wav's) from my Windows 10 PC to my phone all the time. I will right click on the file on the desktop, then "Send to" my phone, which is always right there where it should be in the list. Now suddenly, the phone will not show up (in either the right click menu or on File Explorer.) I've tried restarting/rebooting both PC and phone, tried 3 different cables (USB to C), nothing doing. I have no clue what's wrong, and this is something I use constantly. Any ideas?

I assume you used to see this like I do for my Samsung S21

Check the USB notification on your phone after you connect it to your PC with a USB cable. Make sure it is set to transfer files.
Note once this is set that way it should automatically switch to transfer files whenever you connect the phone to the PC.

If this does not work then try restarting your phone. That worked for my old phone.

This does not work for the S21 or any of the high-end Samsung phones. The screen does not exist, and a search for USB shows only USB tethering. Samsung, Google, and Microsoft all block direct transfers because they want you to use their cloud services (which are universally bad).

What screen does not exist? You seem to be confused about this. If need help with this just ask.

In fact the screenshots in my previous posts were made on my Samsung S21 5G phone. I had no problems transferring files between it and my Windows 10 and 11 computers using a USB cable.

Hi Chris- yeah, as the previous responder noted, there's generally no issue at all w/the S21FE with transferring files, etc. I do it all the time. I posted this because I simply hadn't connected my hub: DOH! If you continue to have issues w/this, just ask here- they'll straighten you out no problem!
