So yesterday my PC crashed and required me to reinstall windows 10 which I grudgingly did, I reinstalled a few apps that I wanted (steam, discord, opera gx and league of legends) then last night before I went to be it wanted to do an update which I let it while it turned off. Then this morning I turn on my pc and it loads straight into a gray screen with a cursor, doesn't even get to the sign in screen first so I can't open task manager.

I've tried rebooting graphics drivers, didn't work, tried launching in safe mode didn't work either. Any advice or am I going to have to reset my pc again?

Hi,

According to this article > MiniTool,
Update Your Graphics Driver
Sometimes display drivers can also cause the Windows 10 Grey Screen. If you are stuck in the issue due to an outdated or corrupted graphics card driver, you can try this solution. Tip: To execute the operation, you have to reboot your computer in Safe Mode with networking.

1. Welcome to the site

2. I realise you cannot post the spec using the system information utility listed at the top of the page, where you typed the post, but please tell us as much as possible about the computer. We do not even know if it is a laptop or a desktop
If it is branded eg Dell HP etc., please post the full make and model details, together with any serial number or model number and product code etc.

3. It is impossible to know what the problem is at this stage. Have you had problems of any manner or notifications of something amiss before the actual crash.
One example would be a notification that your drive needed checking.

4.
tried launching in safe mode didn't work either.
I am unsure if you mean you did configure safe mode and that still resulted in the grey screen OR you could NOT configure safe mode
