win2k on 2nd partition

This question is about win2k and win98se.
I just added a new partition using partition magic. I am running windows 98se right now. I am wanting to see if I can add win2k to the new partition, and not on top of win98. The new partition is logical and not primary. When adding the new one I was told that windows 98 will not recognize 2 primary partitions. Is it possible to add win2k on the new partition? Anything I should know if it is possible? Thanks, Barret.
