WIN ME dll problems

Having problems with loading up software. I keep getting the message error concerning kernel32.dll. I have downloaded this file, but am unable to install it. I get a message that it is being used by other resourses. I also get the message that I am missing something from my dll library. Is there a software program out there that might fix this problem. I also cannot load up my system information file.

Post the exact error messages. kernel32.dll is the main dinamic link library in Windows and will be loaded at all time, thus will always be in use.

It will also be a good idea to run Hijackthis and post the contents of the log in a reply.
