Hi All.
I am using Windows 98 with 512Mb of memory on board and a 1.6G Pentium 4 processor.
When loading a very large image (say 6000 x 8000 pixels) many applications (IE6, Mozilla 1.5, ACD See and other viewers) the image either partly displays or does not display at all. I am assuming that they all use an "inbuilt" widows DLL. Any ideas on what exactly is causing this and how it could be solved (other than going up to Windows 2000, XP etc)?
All the best and thanks.
