Will this do?
I want to install Linux distro on a computer of mine for the first time. My hard drive is completely clean. I was hoping if someone can look at the specs of my computer and tell me if its good for a linux.

Right now I'm using ELive, but I really like SimplyMepis/Kubuntu - DamnSmallLinux (if you want a little footprint OS) and SuSE, which is kind of getting bloated and commerical.
ELive installed everything from to get go, like mp3 and DVD play which is crippled on most other distros making you find the right libs and codecs to get them running - but it's no biggie if you know how to use google.
