I have a:

Wireless - G Notebook Adapter W/ SpeedBooster (WPC54GS)

Obviously it's for my laptop. I was wondering if it would work if I was using Linux? I currently have Windows XP on there, but want to switch to Linux. On the "Minimum Requirements" side of the box, it says I need Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP. But it doesn't say Linux on there. Will it work with Linux or not? Thanks.

You'll have to do you own research! :) Speaking from presonal experience it's a bit of a struggle; wifi is still sparsely covered in Linux. After considerable effort I finally got a Wifi USB dongle working with RH/FC4 (finding and installing the drivers, building from source, etc). Take a look through http://www.linuxquestions.org/: you'll find an excellent hardware compatibilty list (HCL menu item on the main page) - hopefully you'll find your device has already got some entries listed.
