My RZ608 Wi-Fi 6E 80 MHz for my PC seems to be having issues. Despite it appearing in the Network Connections section of Control Panel, it is unable to detect any Wi-Fi networks. It is definitely not my router as other devices are connected and can detect the network.

When viewing the properties of this adapter in Device Manager, the status states that it is working properly.

After troubleshooting the device the problems found were 'Problem with wireless adapter or access point'.
I have enabled and disabled the devices, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. When I tried to update the drivers, Windows states that the best one is installed already. I have performed a network reset and reset network device and stack using command prompts. I have also updated windows to the newest version.

None of these options have resolved the issue.

I am unsure what caused this in the first place.

Also the motherboard is X570S AORUS ELITE AX.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Your wireless device appears to actually be a MediaTek MT7921K.

See if this site helps with your driver issue.

The WiFi driver for your motherboard is located here:

If reinstalling the WiFi driver and resetting the network software doesn't solve the problem then there may be a hardware issue. When this happens I just usually purchase a stand-alone card instead of sending back the motherboard or trying to repair it myself (I have a CET so can sort of do this in some cases). My cat is always sending static shocks to my motherboard while messing around on my computer desk. My system looks like Frankenstein's monster, what with all of the added sound, Ethernet, and WiFi cards, but it works.

On that board the wireless adapter is as you know, the MediaTek designed chip - but in conjunction with AMD
AMD RZ608 Wi-Fi 6E moduleWi-Fi 6E 2x2
80MHz Wi-Fi Channels
PHY rate up to 1.2Gbps

On the I/O panel there are
Back Panel Connectors 4 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports 2 x SMA antenna connectors (2T2R) j 1 x HDMI port 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports 1 x Q-Flash Plus button 1 x USB Type-C® port, with USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 support 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports (red) 1 x RJ-45 port 1 x optical S/PDIF Out connectors

Do you have an antenna attached
If so is there any chance the connections has been removed by you for some reason and not properly connected.
Has the location of either the computer or the modem/router been changed.
