Think a system restore will fix a problem i have on the pc ,however, when i try to it fails.Have tried many off the dates that the computer has gereated but none work.Anyone help this damzel in distress!!!!

System restore would be used to return your system to the state it was before you had a problem.

Was having no real probs up until now!!!Did a disk clean up to free up some room .Cant understand why it wont let me restore now..Wont let me log in to the net or email can only access through the guest log in......

Hi try reboot tap F 8 at startup choose..Last Known Good Configuration.

When you say you did a disk cleanup do you mean the regular Windows disk cleanup that deletes temporary internet files, etc. or did you use some other disk cleaning software?

See the link posted above. You need to disable "Protection of Symantec Products", then restore will work again.
