My laptop is seriously broken, I'm not 100% sure how but I'll run through a list of problems it's got.
I can't get into my own windows account, every time it just loads for a long time and then says there's an error, I have to use the guest account.
I can't connect to wifi, the option doesn't even come up, I went into control panel and tried to connect to the internet there and it said "windows did not detect any networking hardware", I've tried loads for this but it really seems like everything I need to connect, is gone.
I can't restore it to an earlier date, I tried to open recovery and restore it but every time it asks for the adminiatrators password and then when I enter it it just freezes for a few minutes then nothing happens and it's back on the main screen.
I can't factory reset it, I've tried pressing f8 loads when turning my laptop on, it doesn't do anything. I tried another way of factory resetting it and it did the same as earlier, froze for a few minutes and then was back on the main screen.
In general it can't really do anything now, it freezes loads, no internet, doesn't open any application I try to open. I don't know how my laptop got like this, it just changed suddenly one day and wouldn't let me in my account and it all just went from there. It might be from installing mods for my sims game, that's the only reason I can think of that would do something, I don't know much about computers so I'm not sure how that would work.
Anybody know what I can do to fix it? Any suggestions will be useful!

Depending on what media you have reinstall, "recover to factory defaults," or re-image Windows.

I see. Then I agree with Terry, do a backup and then re-image/reinstall windows.I know the password, that's not a problem here
