ArunOnline, Right click your desktop, choose Propertites, under the Appearance tab click the Advanced tab, in the Items: window choose 3D Objects in the Color 1 box choose Biege which will match your menu bar, click OK/Apply/OK.

White background for drop down menu buttons in applications
Since the past few days, I noticed that some applications have a white background in the drop down menu which looks very annoying. There are no other problems seen anyway. I am attaching screenshots with this topic so that you can know what it looks like.
Does anyone know what is causing it and any way to remove it?
I am running Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2.
