I'm getting a consecutive raft of errors in the event viewer of the following:
-----
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Disk
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7
Date: 01/08/2007
Time: 5:04:03 AM
User: N/A
Computer:
Description:
The device, \Device\Harddisk3\D, has a bad block.
----
I have 7 drives attached to my system. Is there a way to determine which drive this is? Does the D mean the drive mapped to drive letter D? Is there a sure way to know which is Harddisk3? I think I'm getting an early warning that I'm about to lose some data.
