Ok. I might consider changing my browser.

I have IE7 on my XP sp2 system which seems to be very slow, especially when running two tabbed pages in the same window. I am trying to troubleshoot this at the moment.

I would consider installing another browser though. I here alot of talk about Firefox and Opera and i am lookingf or feedback on these two if you have time. I have tried Opera6 in the past. I found however that i could not access sites that used activx controls. This was no good to me as alot of my fav sites needed this. I didnt see the point although it was a brilliant browser and was using Tabbed pages before even IE6 was out i think.

What Say You?

I only use Firefox. Never really had any issues besides some websites not displaying correctly. But that's what IE Tab is for.

Give it a shot. It's free and there's nothing to lose.

Firefox can't use active-x, that's why you still need IE, but so many people have been having problems with IE7, you might want to rollback to IE6.

But you can still use Firefox for the majority of your browsing and just use IE when you go to sites that use active-x. About the only site I use IE for is Microsoft Update.
