i have a p3 933MHz 256Ram. but its too slow obviously i want to upgrade my ram but dont know if i need SD ram or DD ram. how do i know which one it is without opening up my pc

if you're still on a p3, it's probably worthwhile getting yourself a new pc. some new ram isn't really gonna help when you've got less than 1ghz of processing power

Depends on what you use the computer for and what version of Windows you running. If the computer is doing everything you need it to do but its just a little slow doing some things then upgrading the RAM may be the best route. But if you're trying to run games or do photo or video editing then you should be considering a newer computer.

You need PC133 SDRAM, you can see what's compatible by going to www.crucial.com and doing their scan.
