I recently purchased some computer equipment from s small store that was going out of buisness in the box of goods i recieved a ezONLINE reciever made by ELCOM technologiesthe product says you can access your computer modem, phone\fax from any room in the house it also says that the transmitter is sold seperately. Of cousre under the circumstances of the purchase i cant return it and the instruction arent in the box. I am in need of some information of what this is and how it works the only instructions is on the outside of the box and it says to plug it in and access your phone\fax or computer modem from any room in your house. Any info will be greatly appericated.

The transmitter is key to the system you plug the transmitter into the AC outlet and plug a phone line into the transmitter then any receiver can be plugged into any AC outlet threw out the house and act like a phone jack. The signals are transmitted threw the AC wiring in the house I used a similar system made by GE and GE works with RCA and GE and the one that Radio Shack makes as well. I used this system for about a week and gave up on it dropped phone calls and static drives me nuts.
