Kinda a cross betwixt Watching and Listening...
Was watching the movie Oblivion and went to listen to the Led Zep tune "Ramble On" (featured in the movie) when I came across this jewel of a cover.
At first I thought, Man-o-man, Plant has let his estrogen levels get to his thighs...
Then realized it's the cover band Lexington Lab Band
And I'll double post in the Listening/Watching threads
The Oblivion soundtrack is awesome. I watched the film, bought the cd, and about 2 years later bought the film. The cd is in my car for over 7 years, and whenever I'm bored with a cd I'm listening to or driving over hills, I reach for the Oblivion cd
Oh, I like all sorts, all genres (apart from Jazz). So, like Muddy Waters and Gary Moore stuff, Aztec Camera (Somewhere in my heart I know off by heart), Plenty of metal including good old Iron maiden (won a competition to meet them as well ), Rock, and even Rap (old school stuff like Run DMC etc) and Trance (more melodic style), oh and Classical (like the Baroque era)
Its just listening to metal, especially some of the heavier ones, I can't do all the time, which is why you see me post at late times, only time I can relax (as it is) with it
And now on a huge boxset: Best of the Sixties. 6 cd's, never heard it before, was my mums. I already had the 80's and the 50's one, may get the 70's as well
This might be a bit low key for some, but it's a haunting reminder that sometimes we can't find the way home... have a look at that...(some one wrote the finger cymbal part!) ...
And contrast that with the classic pairing of Winwood and Clapton....so I thought Clapton was expressive in his playing, but Winwood can hold his own
