i have a programme on my pc now what is happening is i will be on the web and the programme opens up a web page how do i stop this from happening running xp home internet explorer can some 1 help please its driving me nutssssssssssssssss

I think we need to know more information. What is the program? Does it take you to a web page every time when you open the program or do you click something? What web page does it take you to?

its anydvd it runs in the back ground i have disabled auto update ???

and about every half hour it opens up by itself well it loads the home page for anydvd
