web mail erases text?

..one of my mailboxes is on yahoo.
recently mail coming from one particular contact has been getting erased ...or it's just not 'readable' by yahoo mail.
.... it's mail that she forwards to me and the main body is a text attatchment.
when these text attatchments are opened they are blank.
....when SHE recieves them they are readable to her, but after they are sent--[forwarded]--to me they are blank
.-------any clues to what's going on here?
