I came into ownership of a laptop with W2K Pro on it. Does it have anything like the restore function that Win XP has. I have seen references on TSG that has lead me to believe it exists.

If it does can anyone tell me where to find out info on it and if it doesn't exist tell me that.

No there is no system restore in windows 2000.

What type of issues are you having?

Not haveing any issues. Just trying to learn how to use W2K and ran across the comments about restore when I was looking in TSG about a issue with XP and automatic saving of restore points. I found the answer I needed for XP but also found the comments that made me think restore might be in W2K.

Thanks for the quick answer. With W2K I will be using 98SE, XP and W2K. Enough for anyone. I keep getting confused about which one to do what.
