Visual Studio 2005

Hi, what is the cheapest way to get a copy of Visual Studios 2005? It doesn't matter what version, just so long as it's at least standard. I want to get a copy because I'm going to use it with the book "Beginning Visual C++ 2005" by Ivor Horton. I can't use the Express edition because it doesn't include the MFC libraries. I have a copy of VS 2003 .NET, so if it's possible to upgrade I might be able to go that route.

MFC libraries are fat and outdated. Most developers don't use them anymore. Learn C++ with ATL (Active Template Libraries).
Can you suggest a good book for teaching Windows ATL programming?
Beginning ATL 3 COM Programming by Richard Grimes.

ATL uses Win32 api's so I would pick up one of Charles Petzold's books on that too.
