Virus definitions not updating

Nortons Utilities is not updating he Virus definitions. The subscription is up to date and everything appears to be updating and working fine but when I look at the date of last update "Virus Definitions it Shows may of 2003" I have tried already a complete uninstall / reinstall of the aplication.

I havent the answer as to why NAV isn't downloading updates {live update ??}, but I would try "intellegent updater" and see what happens. Click the link provided and read " intellegent updater vs Live update". At least you may be protected until you find a fix. Symantec site provides a lot of info. Hope someone who knows more than I responds.
