Looks OK from what I have sen so far and I am sure it will take a while to learn to navigate...OK that was enough time. One thing you might want to do is tell users to go into their control panel and set their viewing preferences or sections with few posts in them will look like there is no activity at all. Maybe you could make it default to a view of posts from a month or a week. If people see no posts in a section they might be scared off that there is no support here.

Angelize...turn down the color!!

Some minor nits for me: I don't see a way to disable the "quick reply" window; thread starters' names are in a rather small and not very easy to read font; the "you have posted in this thread" icon really doesn't stand out much -- something I rely on a lot rather than e-mail notification; bright multi-colors look pretty, but can be a bit distracting too.

Seems to load the image icons faster though -- I don't know why.

Agree totally with Rog on this one. I always looked for the big black dot on the thread to find the ones I've posted in.

Good point Rockn because when I first signed on, I thought that we had lost all previous posts until I went into my Control Panel and changed the amount of days to be shown.

I agree with Rog too on the "threads read" item. I am rather partial to the black dot we had before, but if that's not possible, something that stands out more would be nice.

Also, I would very much prefer that the number shown for the amount of replies to a post NOT be underlined as it makes it harder to read (at least for me). There is no underline under the "number of views" which is great.

The site looks great though. I am posting on another forum (health issues) which has just converted to this format as well so I've gotten used to most of the functions already.

Simply click on the double arrows located on the upper right hand side of quick reply, and it will minimize for you

There's no reply button in pm's either.

Glad you saw that. I noticed that in Software, and thought we'd lost some. Then, looked at the bottom, and saw it was set to 1 day. I'll change mine now
