Using an old MacBook as a Second Monitor

My M1 MacBook Pro recently replaced my early 2014 MacBook Air. Is there a way to use the MBA as a second screen for the MBP? Thanks.

Typically you can’t use a machine like the MacBook Air to be used as a second monitor.

if you need a second monitor you should just buy a small one.
