Hey guys,
I've been trying to look for a solution for this all over but I've had not much luck.

I bought a Logitech Z506 5.1 Surround Sound speaker set for Boxing day and I wanted to work them with my laptop. I know that in order to fully output the 5.1 audio I will need either a PC with 5.1 output or a USB external sound card to use with my 2.1 Laptop, but after reading around I've noticed that it is possible to mirror the audio coming from your Front left and right speakers to your Rear left and right speakers, as most audio is only available in stereo as far as I know. Does anyone know a method to perhaps allow all 5 speakers to work with just a 2.1 output (Channel Mixers etc.)? I've tried different plugins with Winamp and Foobar2000, but non of it seems to be helpful. In addition, there's a static noise coming from the center speaker, whereas the rest are fine (I tried the speakers with my desktop, which has an external 5.1 sound card from Creative)

I know my question is lengthy, but any help is appreciated. And I'm not looking to have PERFECT results, since the speakers were $60...
