I don't need this but I've been curious for a while as to if it works.

If I had a PC with an ethernet port and a wireless card, could I turn the computer into a access point?
1. Hooked up via ethernet and clients connect by wireless
2. Hooked up via wireless and client connects by ethernet
3. Hooked up via wireless and clients connect by wireless (range extender)

Are any of those possible?

It's just if I need to network two computers together, if I need to fix someone elses, I can access the internet and grab files off my PC, say for backup, without having to run a wire up from the router.

Is it creating a network bridge that will do it? And is it two way?

Personally, I just run the wire to the router. It's much easier, since the default configuration of most machines connects directly.
