My bios is showing my cd rom as being a master on my second ide channel and it nsees it on boot up, but my computer doesn't see it and it doesn't show up on "My Computer" or on system in Control Panel. I am running on 98 se. Any ideas?

Go to device manager and check for the CDROM there. If it is shown, delete it and reboot the system to install the CDROM again.
