I have just purchased a Linksys WRT54GS broadband router and can not connect my modem (BT Telephone line) to it because it is a USB modem and all the ports on the router are Ethernet. Do I have to buy a new modem or is there some workround? I only bought a router rather than router/modem combinded in the mistaken belief that I did not need a new modem!

Any advice gratefully received.

You have two options; get an Ethernet modem, or return the router and get one with a built in ADSL modem. If you rent your modem from your ISP then ask them for a different model.
