I uprgraded my OS from XP Home to XP Pro, every thing was fine. Then, I installed the critical updates. Now, I have lost my USB connected mouse and printer. The PS mouse works. What should I do?

Go to Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager and look fo errors. You can also try removing the USB Devices and Controllers in Device Manager and reboot; they should reinstall automatically, except for the printer which you may need to re-run the driver install for.

Thanks for responding...In the device manager I the following listed under usb: Universal host controller, 24d2, 24d4, 24d7, and 24de, then, I have foru usb root hubs. Should I delete all of those?
