I have been looking all over the internet, have called tech support, etc. but nothing seems to help. So, here is my problem:

I HAVE TwO USB PORTS, DEVICES WILL CONNECT AND BE RECOGNIZED BY THE COMPUTER WHEN IT FIRST STARTS OR WHEN IT COMES BACK FROM HIBERNATION. AFTER ABOUT A MINUTE OR TWO, THE DEVICES ARE NO LONGER DETECTED. FOR EXAMPLE, I COULD HAVE A MOUSE CONNECTED THROUGH THE USB PORT AND IT WILL INITIALLY WORK, THEN IT WILL STOP WORKING AND IT IS NO LONGER RECOGNIZED IN THE DEVICE MANAGER. THE SAME HAPPENS WITH WEBCAM, FLASH DRIVE, MP3 PLAYER. I HAVE RESET BIOS TO DEFAULT SETTINGS, UNINSTALL USB HOSTS FROM DEVICE MANAGER AND RESTARTED, DISABLED AND ENABLED USB ROOT HUBS, CHANGED SETTINGS DISABLE COMPUTER FROM TURNING OFF USB ROOT HUBS TO SAVE POWER, TAKEN OUT THE BATTERY AND UNPLUGGED THE COMPUTER OVERNIGHT.

I THINK IT IS A HARDWARE PROBLEM AND THE USB PORTS THEMSELVES ARE FAULTY. HOWEVER, I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT COMPUTERS SO I HAVE NO IDEA IF THAT IS THE PROBLEM OR NOT. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE SUPER HELPFUL! THANKS.
