I've just got canon bjc 2000 printer
the problem is about cartridge
i've got BC-21e cartridge but when i try to print any document the computer keeps saying to replace photo BC-22e cartridge with BC-21e or black.
why does it say that when on my cartridge it clearly says that it is bc-21e?

As I explained in my e-mail, Canon has in the past had problems with mis-labeled cartridges. Your BC21E may actually be a BC22E...
That's true... I had forgotten that (it's been 5 years since I supported Canon printer, and I think I'm becoming senile ;) ). However, if you replaced the entire BC21 Cartridge (holder and all), it may still be the same problem. If your printer is recognizing the BCI21 black cartridge but not the BCI21 color, the problem may lie with the drivers or the printer itself.

A lighter note: The BJC 2000 has been around for a few years now, and it might be a good time to replace it. You can get a comparable printer (such as the Lexmark Z25) for less than the price of your cartridges...
If you are determined to keep your printer, you might try cleaning the electrical contacts. Use a cotton swab dampened with alcohol to very carefully clan the contacts on the cartridge and on the carrier in the printer. You can also use a pencil eraser to clean the contacts. This is not recommended by Canon, but it sometimes does help.
